The Association of Alexandria Radiologists Alexandria and Woodbridge offices are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology. The American College of Radiology (ACR) is a nonprofit professional medical association composed of diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists (IR), nuclear medicine physicists and medical physicists.
The American College of Radiology (ACR) awards accreditation to facilities for their achievement of high practice standards after a rigorous peer review evaluation process. The program evaluates personnel qualifications, equipment maintenance and adequacy, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs.
