Event Details:

During this event, you will have a brief ultrasound exam and meet individually with an Interventional Radiology physician or physician’s assistant who will evaluate your individual condition and provide you with treatment recommendations.  Interventional radiologists are board-certified physicians who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments.  AAR interventional radiologists were the first in Northern Virginia to treat varicose veins without surgery.

You will receive information about venous disease, specifically venous reflux disease, a common cause of varicose veins.

We suggest you wear a two piece outfit as you will be given a gown and asked to remove your lower clothing for the ultrasound exam.
